      This unique dining table that closes up to a console table had lots of wear and tear on the tabletop, and in some areas the previous owners had started stripping off the old finish so we decided to continue stripping the top and extensions to the bare wood with stripping gel.  When stripping furniture, the stripper will always leave a gummy residue.  We recommend doing a final clean-up with Fusion TSP Alternative and water.  For the rest of the table, we just did a quick scuff-sanding.
