This 1930’s Solid wood 20 drawers apothecary chest hand painted in @milkpaintbyfusion Vintage Laurel and Coastal Blue.
What is your favourite thing about Milk Paint?
🤩The ease of application. It’s thin and self levelling, so you don’t have to worry about brush strokes or clean finish.
What is your fav technique or look of Milk Paint?
🤩Layering them and seeing all of the colors in one finish.
What is your top tip when using Milk Paint?
🤩 Keep mixing it while painting. Since it is a paste of powder and water, you need to keep mixing it while painting so you get the true color on the entire piece.
What would you tell someone who is new to Milk Paint?
🤩 Try it to find the real therapy. Milk paint has it all...you make the paint (it doesn’t come readymade), then apply it in layers after layers and see the magic unfold. It’s so forgiving that you will get addicted.
And finally… what are your fav colours?
🤩 Coastal Blue. I saw the color and it made me want to try milk paint.
